For those of you unfamiliar with what Black Friday is, I will give you a brief history or you can read about it on Wikipedia. Essentially, it is a North American day of marketing and cheap deals to ramp consumers up to the holiday season.
Similar to Boxing Day, Black Friday has tons of blow out sales and loss leaders that big brands like Best Buy, Wal-mart and others use to get customers in the door. Since research has shown that placing the best deals near the back of the store will cause customers to buy more as they walk to the checkouts, it is an easy sell for the retailer.
